Coronavirus infection may resume in China: NHC

China. Asia (INL): New coronavirus infections have been reported in 10 regions of China in the past two weeks. In such a situation, the infection may start again in the country. China’s National Health Commission (NHC) issued such a warning on Monday, May 5.

Three people were newly infected with coronavirus in China on Sunday. The NHC said the three had returned abroad. In addition, 13 asymptomatic corona patients were identified on Sunday. In recent times, a total of 972 asymptomatic corona patients have been identified in China. 98 of them returned abroad.

Mih Feng, a spokesman for the NHC, said new social infection data had been available in 10 provinces over the past two weeks. Most of them are asymptomatic. This means that there is still a risk of a re-emergence of the epidemic in China.

However, China is trying to cope with the coronavirus. Most of the businesses in different parts of the country, including the capital Beijing, have been opened. Although public places like movi theaters or theaters are still closed.

No one died of coronavirus in China on Sunday. However, a total of 4,633 people have died in the country. The total number of victims is 82,880. Of them, 481 people are undergoing treatment at the hospital. The rest have recovered and returned.

The novel coronavirus (Covid-19) spread from Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province in China, in December last year.
