US News (INL): US President Donald Trump has criticized the move by the World Health Organization (WHO) to stop the spread of coronavirus. He also referred to the WHO as ‘the new political enemy’ on Tuesday (April 7). The US president has also threatened to end funding for the organization due to numerous casualties in the wake of the outbreak of coronavirus around the world.
Trump said, “We’re moving toward closing the cost of spending for the WHO.” We are going to forcefully stop funding the organization. He said these things during a daily Corona briefing at the White House on Tuesday, April 7.
Trump claims the World Health Organization has never been quick enough stape to stop the spread of coronavirus. Trump thinks the World Health Organization has taken the wrong steps, and their failure has surprised Trump and his administration.
Meanwhile, 424,000 people have been identified as suffering from coronavirus in the United States and the death toll has risen to 12,058. Earlier on Tuesday, the number of victims was 376,000 and the death toll was 10,871.
As a result, the death toll in the United States has risen to 1983 in the span of one day. It is reported that currently 365,884 people are undergoing treatment in that country. So far Corona has been tested for 20,75,059 people.
Coronavirus has spread to two hundred and nine countries worldwide. So far 14,31,530 people have been identified as affected and 82,058 have died. In the meantime 302,140 people have been cured worldwide and 10,47,332 are under treatment. Currently the number of serious patients is 47,891.
